Working to protect rainforests and other threatened habitats; the WLT has projects in many parts of the world, including India, Central and South America, the Philippines and the UK. WLT works in partnership with local organisations and communities to develop long-term, sustainable management of natural ecosystems.

Over 80% of the tropical rainforests in Ecuador have already been destroyed. This project protects the wildlife in some of the forests that remain.

Protecting Elephant Habitat in India

The Wild Lands Elephant Corridor project helps prevent forest fragmentation, which is a serious threat to the survival of the Indian elephants, as well as other endangered species, such as tigers and clouded leopards.
